All of the girls shared a room and so we all had alarms around 4 in the morning to wake up on time. We all left for our little hike to watch the sunrise around 4:30 am.

I wasn’t feeling sore yet which meant it was only going to be worse tomorrow.
Since I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet I felt a tiny bit dizzy going up all of the stairs but it was fine because it wasn’t too far. I also only brought my phone because I didn’t want to carry much since it was nearby our rooms, I was a fool to think this. I was really thirsty going up and Matt was kind enough to give me the rest of his water. We got to the spot and found a lot of tourists also waiting for the sun to rise. I was taking pictures on my phone and realized how stupid it was for me to think that my phone would do the trick. I regretted not taking my camera.
The sun rose at exactly 5:22 am.
We came back down and had breakfast at 6 am. After breakfast we left to hike down where the buses (skipping the cable car). It was a 5-hour hike. I wasn’t too worry about this hike even though it was going to be 5 hrs because it was all going to be mostly going down. I went up the stairs at a slower pace as everyone else as usual but that was okay. But I did go down the stairs faster than everyone else. A lot of people complained about their knees hurting coming down the stairs and I was just happy that didn’t happen to me but I think to avoid the pain you do need to go down faster to put less weight on your knees and that could prevent some pain.
This day I went up and down 166 flights of stairs according to my phone.
We got amazing views of the mountains on our way back down. It was all worth the pain.
Once we got to the buses we couldn’t wait to sit down to nap. We got to the bus and got onto another bus to go to lunch. We tried stinky tofu and it was goooood and I couldn’t smell the stinkiness then but did later on and couldn’t believed I ate it because it really did smell.
After lunch we took the bullet train to Suzhou.
